Okay, so we all have our days where we just feel so meh right? I know that I have had my share of many and I usually try to work it out at the gym. Well what about the times where we cannot make it to the gym and we're stuck with the drench of the workday on our body. Well I have a tried these poses

Cobra Pose

My favorite pose would be the cobra pose. This pose is a very deep stretching pose that I love to do when I feel my back begin to bother me. If you have been sitting at your desk all day this is a pose to do to stretch your back and strengthen your spine.

Downward Facing Dog Pose

Another great pose to try out would be the downward facing dog. This pose really gets you working your abdominal muscles while balancing out your body. A great way to work out your arm muscles, the downward facing dog pose is a great way to stretch your legs and work out those calf muscles. Always try to hold your pose for about ten seconds, I bend my legs back and forth after staying in the stretch as well.

Also, try the one-legged downward facing dog with each leg and hold your pose. These two stretching techniques will leave you feeling refreshed!

Camel Pose

Aside from the downward facing dog and may a one-legged downward facing dog, this pose is sure to bring life to your body. The camel pose is a great pose to try, and I will admit that it does take time to do, but it is worth it. I recommend ten seconds to hold this pose as well at it brings a stretch in depth to the spine and pulls and works the arms as well.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
