It's easy to lose yourself in the society we live in today. Lately, I have been trying to find myself again. I have been trying to walk out of the fog I have been stuck in. I am tired of not being myself, and I want to be the best version possible. I have been pushing myself to be out there more. I am learning more about myself. I am a happier me. Here are a few of my tips on finding yourself:
1. Keep that song that makes you scream the lyrics on repeat.
2. Start a journal about your life.
3. Collect quotes that inspire you.
4. Spend time with your mom.
5. Go swimming!
6. Fuel your body with fruits and vegetables.
7. Smile and say "hi" to older people.
8. Surround yourself with people that want to see you succeed.
9. Send 'thank you' notes.
10. Have 1 food cheat day a week.
11. Find a perfume that you can call your smell.
12. Literally, dance in the rain (if there's no lightning.
13. Clean your "Friends" and "Followers" on social media.
14. Take naps.
15. Doodle in a notebook.
16. Ask questions.
17. Unplug from social media for a little bit.
18. Go on a hike or long walk.
19. Clean your room, and only surround yourself with things that make you happy.
20. Call/text a friend you haven't talked to in awhile.
21. Write 3 things you're grateful for every day.
22. Experiment with paints and glitter.
23. Meditate.
24. Cut out toxic relationships.
25. Take time to read a book.
26. Listen to the stories your grandparents have to say.
27. Go for a car ride.
28. Try yoga.
29. Save or even print funny photos to remind you to smile.
30. Balance friends and family.
31. Listen more and talk less.
32. Pet a cat.
33. Cuddle a dog.
34. Wear your favorite shirt on Mondays.
35. Laugh a lot.
36. Forgive, but don't forget.
37. Pray when you can.
