Mother's day — a day that comes by once a year in May but should be celebrated every single day. All mothers and mother figures deserve the appreciation. It's easy to take advantage of all that they do, but it's so important to recognize it.

15. Thank you for all of the cute care packages when I'm away at college.

16. Thank you for staying in the phone with me literally 24/7 during difficult break-ups.

17. Thank you for indulging in my college friend drama that I love to share with you.

18. Thank you for singing Taylor Swift in the car with me.

19. Thank you for writing out flashcards for me when I had 10 other assignments due the next day.

20. Thank you for our random Starbucks dates.

21. Thank you for pushing me onto roller coasters, because I do have fun.

22. Thank you for spending all of your weekends at my volleyball tournaments.

23. Thank you for being Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy.

24. Thank you for always insisting that I have the last piece of cake.

25. Thank you for loving me, even after I said hurtful things.

26. Thank you for making sure that I check in with you when I am out late and for caring that I'm safe.

27. Thank you for being selfless enough to let me love others, too.
