Having a roommate is the best. Someone who shares in your triumphs and your tribulations as well as someone who knows the messiest and greatest parts of you is pretty awesome. If you're lucky, you might even be best friends with your beloved roomie, too. If either of these are the case, you probably spend a good amount of time together, and things can get pretty close pretty fast in those tight quarters. To prove it, here's 35 things you've probably (or definitely) said to your roommate this year:

1. My makeup from last night is still acceptable for today, right?

2. If I microwave my coffee in a styrofoam cup, will I die?

3. We need to vacuum. There's hair all over.

4. Help me pick an Instagram filter.

5. Are you going to your 8:30am class?

6. How should I reply to this text?

7. Take a video of me dancing around with a bag on my head and put it on your story. Just because.

8. This leftover IHOP pancake has been in the fridge for a week...Can I still eat it?

9. Can we go get ice cream?

10. Is it bad that I ate two dinners today?

11. Would you judge me if I ate this entire pizza?

12. Can we make a blanket fort?

13. Do you think we could hide a dog in here?

14. How about a cat?

15. Can you let me in the room? I definitely lost my keys for the fourth time this month.

16. Have you left your bed at all today? *texted from bed*

17. If we dropped out of college right now we'd still be successful, right?

18. I'm sorry my side of the room is such a mess.

19. Theoretically speaking, if you died, what would you leave me in your will?

20. Should we go to the gym?

21. I already wore this sweatshirt twice this week...but can I wear it again tomorrow?

22. Promise not to tell if I spray Glade air freshener on this shirt instead of washing it?

23. Does it smell okay in here?

24. How long do you think I can push off writing this essay?

25. Do you want half of this muffin?

26. How many stains do you think this carpet is hiding?

27. Will you smell this expired yogurt to see if I can still eat it?

28. Is today Tuesday?

29. Wait, it's ONLY Tuesday?

30. Let's go on vacation together.

31. How often should I wash my bedding?

32. Whose turn is it to take out the garbage?

33. Do you still like that dude from Physics?

34. I know it's only been an hour, but I miss you...when are you coming back to the room?

35. I love you.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
