31 Thoughts You Have At Your First EDM Concert

It is your very first Electric Dance Music (EDM) concert, here are some thoughts that are bound to go through your head:

1. Wait, how old do I have to be to have access to this show?

2. Whoa, look at all of the colorful lights flashing everywhere.

3. Alright, I can vibe to this opener DJ.

4. Wait, they said there is going to be a surprise guest? Who will it be? Please tell me, the suspense is killing me!

5. She's wearing what?! Ew…. Someone please go tell her to change into something that covers at least a little bit of something on her body. C'mon girl, leave a little mystery.

6. Wow, it's getting really crowded in here.

7. Ew, stranger. Don't touch me. I don't want to dance with you. I'm clearly dancing with my friends.

8. Yay, the headline DJ is finally on.

9. Jump, dance, jump, jump, throw your hands up, jump, jump, dance jump.

10. Dude, didn't I just tell you I'm dancing with my friends? Stop trying.

11. Ow, someone just jumped on my foot.

12. Oh well, this set is awesome. I can think about my probably broken foot later.

13. Jump, dance, jump, jump, throw your hands up, jump, jump, dance, jump

14. OMG, my favorite song – one second, I need to Snapchat story this.

15. 120 Snapchat story seconds later, confetti? Sorry, Snapchat friends, but I have to snap story this as well. You'll love to see this too. I know it.

16. Seriously dude, I'm about to make up an excuse at this point. “I have a boyfriend so I can't dance with any guys. Sorry!" That'll do it.

17. Jump, dance, jump, jump, throw your hands up, jump, jump, dance, jump

18. I wonder what I have to do to get on stage?

19. Ooooo, or maybe crowd surf! That would be awesome.

20. **Wave your arms in the air and scream hoping the DJ will somehow notice you within the huge crowd**

21. Well, that didn't work. I'll just keep enjoying this spot with my friends.

22. When did it get this crowded? And to think I thought it was crowded before…

23. Wow, I'm so sweaty! Why in the world did I think it would be okay to wear pants?

24. Well, the hair is most definitely going up now! #FrizzyMess

25. **Slick back your hair to a perfect high ponytail with the help of your forehead sweat from dancing all night.**

26. Ew, that was gross. But now it's up so hopefully no one will notice.

27. Jump, dance, jump, jump, throw your hands up, jump, jump, dance, jump

28. Ugh, I'm drained, what time is it?

29. 4:30 a.m.?! Yeah, it's time to go home.

30. Wow, that was actually so much fun! When's the next concert?

31. **Wake up the next morning sore due to the most fun work out ever!**

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
