Being away from college can be really great. You’re living on your own, doing whatever you want, whenever you want. But when the going gets tough there is always one person that you want. The person who knows it all, the person who you will help you with absolutely anything: your mom. If you’re like me, your mom is probably your best friend and you call her everyday. Actually… multiple times a day. She is the one I call when I need absolutely anything, from how to work the washing machine, to where I put my clothes in my dorm room. She is the one you can gossip to and not worry about anyone ever finding out. One motivational phone call from her can turn a day around. So, considering you probably tell her every single solitary detail of your life, here are a few things you might say to her on the daily.

1. Oh my god, guess what?

2. How should I wash this sweater?

3. I have a long walk to class... talk to me.

4. Do you mind transferring a little bit of money into my bank account?

5. Can you send me that shirt I left at home?

6. You won't believe what this girl did last night.

7. Do you remember where we put those shoes when I was moving in?

8. How long can I keep this food in the fridge?

9. I have so much to do.

10. What is a good wine that's affordable?

11. Guess who texted me today.

12. *sends picture* Do you like this outfit?

13. I think I'm getting sick. What should I take?

14. Did you see that video I shared on Facebook?

15. I really can't stand some people here.

16. I ate really healthy today!

17. Can you send me that recipe I really like?

18. I don't know how I'm going to finish all this homework.

19. I wore that cute shirt you like today.

20. I'm breaking out... what should I do?

21. Listen to what Dad texted me this morning.

22. Does this email to my professor sound okay?

23. I'm debating going home this weekend.

24. You need to watch this show I'm watching.

25. I read a really good article last night, I'm going to send it to you.

26. This one professor is giving so much work, I don't know if I can do it.

27. How do I get this stain out of my pants?

28. Tell Grandma I said hi.

29. When can you come visit?

30. I miss you.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
