For most college students, the fun of the weekend is going out. But to others, the fun is the glass of wine (or five) before, with the best music blasting out, dancing around with your best friends getting ready. There is a certain bond you share with friends, whether it be in the dorm or in the apartment you have together, and it can never be broken. It is most definitely at its strongest on Friday and Saturday nights when the Justin Bieber album is on full volume and you’re running around trying on each other’s clothes. Here are a couple quick comments you may share in the process.

1. Should I wear this?

2. How should I do my hair?

3. Oh my god, love that top.

4. Red or pink lipstick?

5. Help me pick out some shoes.

6. I think I’m going to change.

7. I actually really liked the first outfit you had.

8. Do you want to borrow my necklace?

9. I have the perfect earrings for that.

10. Can you wing my eyeliner?

11. I need to pee.

12. Shots?!

13. I need to find my Naked Palette… who has it?

14. Let’s have so much fun tonight!

15. Can I borrow your straightener?

16. How about this dress?

17. I wonder who is going tonight…

18. Do you think he will be there?

19. Never leave my side tonight!

20. Where are my heels?

21. Is anyone taking a bag?

22. Get in my Snapchat.

23. What filter?

24. If an ugly guy hits on me, will you save me?

25. I’m so excited!

26. Let’s leave in 5!

27. *One hour later* Are we ready now?

28. Group pic!

29. You look so freaking cute.

30. I love you guys.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
