Having your own schedule can be the best thing or the worst thing. On one hand, you have all the time in the world to do what you want, but on the other hand, you have all the free time to sit around and do nothing. I, like most college students, am on a very limited budget, so I am always looking for fun and cheap things to entertain me. Sometimes there is more to do at your house than you realize! I have compiled a list of suggestions for activities, some more productive than others, to fill the empty hours of the day!

1. Do a puzzle

2. Pick out what to wear the next day

3. Read a good book

4. Write down what you are thankful for

5. Take a power nap

6. Rearrange your room

7. Clean something you haven't cleaned in a while

8. Buy flowers for someone

9. Go grocery shopping

10. Go to a farmers market

11. Go to local festivals

12. Go to a free/cheap museum

13. Organize your closet

14. Write in a journal

15. Exercise

16. Do homework

17. Count your spare change

18. Play memory games
