1. The way the air smells right after it rains.

2. A good cup of coffee that has just the right amount of cream and sugar.

3. Driving towards a low sunset on the highway.

4. Listening to country music and driving with the windows down on a summer day.

5. Taking a hot shower after a long day.

6. Seeing your dog after a long time and realizing that they missed you just as much as you missed them.

7. "Class is cancelled."

8. Taking the first bite of a long-awaited meal.

9. Harry Styles' voice.

10. Helping a stranger.

11. Being called "sweetheart" or "hon" by an adult.

12. Being called "ma'am" by anyone.

13. Taking off those super-tight skinny jeans for the day.

14. The smooth feeling of a fresh set of nails.

15. Putting on comfy sweatpants and even comfier socks.

16. Finding an old picture and reminiscing about it for an hour.

17. That fresh feeling you get after taking off a face mask.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
