Whether you're generally unhappy with your body-type or just having one of those inevitable days where your food baby is especially massive, sometimes feeling uncomfortable with your body can discourage you from doing things because the last thing you could imagine is wearing a cute outfit. However, many days of experience with this has led me to determine a number of ways to avoid this feeling and feel good looking good.

1. Find your best feature.

The first key to dressing to love your body is finding your best feature. Whether it be your arms, legs, shoulders, tummy, waist, belly button, or even face, finding your best feature and honing in on it is what makes you look and feel great every time. If it's your face, wearing the right colors to make your eyes pop and support your facial structure is all it takes to look and feel amazing. There are numerous websites for each different body type which can help you learn tricks for various ways to accentuate any one of these features of yours.

2. Find your favorite article of clothing.

If finding your best feature is hard, sometimes it helps to find your favorite article of clothing and work backwards. Try on that article of clothing in the mirror and determine what it is you love about it. It could be the fit of the back of the jeans, the cut on the shirt, or the way the color of the dress makes your eyes pop. Whatever it is, use it to help you find other clothing you love!

3. Find a great brand.

There's nothing worse than trying on your typical size 6 jeans and realizing that the brand runs small. Sticking to a few brands you love and you know support your body type are a great way to keep yourself feeling good about your wardrobe. If your favorite pair of work pants is from Gap, go treat yourself to some more Gap pants to make every pair your favorite.

At the end of the day, when you feel good, you look better. Of course, working out, eating healthy, and all of that is important, but sometimes you just need some short-term help feeling good about yourself and your body. These three basic steps can genuinely help you feel more positive about yourself and the things you do love about your body in order to look and feel great on a daily basis.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
