3 Reasons Peter Shouldn't Be The Next Bachelor

Peter Kraus. This season's fan favorite since the very first episode when he stepped out of the limo in his plaid suit. I knew he would go far in this season from his first date with Rachel – plus Copper really liked him and dogs are good judges of character.

Throughout the season things seemed to go pretty well for him. I mean, he did spend three hours in a hot tub with the Bachelorette while they were on a group date. I wanted him to take this thing all the way but as we all know, that didn’t happen. If you’ve been living under a rock the past week let me fill you in on what went down on the finale of The Bachelorette.

Peter is the most real contestant to be on this show probably ever. He knows that marriage is a big deal and wants to propose and get married only one time in his life. This is completely understandable.

He felt as though he couldn’t propose to Rachel at the time the show was ending, but he didn’t want to lose her because he knew they had something special. He told Rachel that he would propose to show how much he really cared about her if that's what she wanted and she told him that he shouldn’t sacrifice what he believes just because of her. And with that, they were broken up.

Now, watching that breakup showed us how much they really did love each other. Rachel, however, really wanted a ring, even if it wasn’t necessarily tied to true love. So she ended up with the other guy. We’re glad she’s happy (I guess) but now here we are, left wondering who the next Bachelor is going to be. Many people want Peter for Bachelor. But I have to disagree.

1. He's not that type of person

He doesn’t seem like the type of person who could date 30 women in two months. I can only see Peter going to the farmers market and football games with one person. Even though he’d get down to one eventually, I feel as though the getting there would not be fun for him. Rachel may have said it to spite him, but I have to agree that this show and this process is not how Peter is supposed to find love.

2. He’s too good

As we all know, Peter is a real person with real values and doesn’t sway from them easily. In this show, you need some pretty loose morals at times. I feel as though the show's producers would want to throw in a lot of crazy people to add drama and that is not what Peter deserves.

3. It would make him look ingenuine

If Peter was the next Bachelor, he would become what everyone hates on this show, a disingenuous person. We all know this show is heavily influenced by the producers and what they want, but Peter as Bachelor would be too fake. How can we expect him to propose to one person out of 30 when he wasn’t ready to propose to Rachel and she was the only one he was dating?!

Now to the one reason he should be the next Bachelor.

1. MORE PETER!

I mean who doesn’t want to see that man on their TV screen every week.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
