"I don't want to get out of my bed" or "I don't feel like working out."
That is me 99% of the time before I enjoyed exercising, and I 101% hated to work out and was incredibly a lazy person just to begin with. The times before I tried one of these workouts, I would always find myself giving excuses for not doing the workout, but in the end, I finally did it. I gave these following exercises a try, and now I am addicted. Try these following exercises if you hate working out:
1. Muay Thai
This exercise is also often called Thai boxing or "the art of eight limbs." I love this workout since it uses every part of my body, like my fists, elbows, knees, and shins. This exercise burns a ton of calories, leaving my body soaking wet after the workout. I love the workout. Every time I go with my friends, I always get so pumped up since they push me until the verge of it to do the hard work. My trainer would torture command me as he intimidated me with his tumbled look and rough voice to push me harder without mercy, leaving my body sore the next day. But, I always know the hard work will pay off! It is not just a workout for me but also a fun game that I like to play, and I know that I will get better day by day. In this class, you can learn to be a fighter, and also enjoy every minute of it.
2. Swimming
It is my top favorite workout. Even when I don't see sweat all over my body, I can feel the endorphins run through my body, and how sleepy and tired I am after swimming. I don't feel like I spent enough time in the water, and when I see my hand wrinkles, that means it's time to end this fun workout session. It's always fun! I love bringing my friends to the pool. I love getting into those water slides or sitting under those humongous water buckets and wait for them to splash on us as I think that maybe I have a four-year-old soul inside of me. If I have more time on my hands, I will enjoy some time in the jacuzzi and sauna after that, and if it is an outdoor pool, that means I can soak up some sun to get some vitamin D. Healthy, healthy!
3. Dance
You can dance it off anytime and anywhere! If you don't have a dance studio at your place, don't worry! Your bedroom or living room can do the work for you. I love dancing! Remember when someone said, "Dance like nobody is watching?" Yes, that is the motto for this; dance as crazy as you want. You might need to sing along too. I love dancing, especially when I have my speaker with me. Whether it is rap, R&B, or love songs, I always say, "Turn it up!"
Don't forget about these tips that make a workout more enjoyable:
1. Work out with friends. You are one step ahead if you have a workout buddy.
2. Don't chug your water all at once during your workout session, and always go with warm water.
3. Don't obsess over an exercise with the primary focus of losing or gaining weight; focus on your health.
Who said a lazy girl like me couldn't enjoy working out? I love working out as much as I love being a lazy sleazy. Other than that, I can be empowered by the people that I am surrounded with while working out and be proud of myself by showering my body with love and sweats! Sweet love—this feels great! I love this. Give it a try, my beautiful friends! You might fall in love with one of the workouts (or all of it) like I did!
