2017 is thankfully coming to an end which means it’s time for New Year’s Resolutions we unfortunately never follow through with.
Why?
Because we’re not organized.
It’s easy to say you want to workout but if we can’t set aside time every day it’s not going to happen. So to make 2018 better than 2017 I have found three apps that would make your life less cluttered.
1. Momentum
I have been using Momentum this past quarter and oh my god it has been so useful. It’s a Chrome Extension that allows you to have a small To-Do list as your homepage on Google. It’s super useful to have a little list of everything you need to complete in general and everything you need to complete today. It even changes the image every day to some new picturesque place and a new motivational quote to get your day started right.
The brilliance of this app boils down to the fact that it's tied to Google which is something you look at every day. With this, you will never forget to check what you have to do.
2. Evernote
Evernote is another Chrome Extension that allows you to have all of your notes and To Do lists in one area. You can create different notebooks to hold all of your information. And you can even save Web Pages and Images and annotate them for future use which is especially useful when studying chemistry slides.
For example, my Evernote has a notebook for Odyssey Articles, another one for my History Class, and one just for cute outfit ideas.
3. CloudCal
CloudCal is another useful app that has gotten me through these past few months. College is a weird time where classes are not stacked against each other like high school. Instead, you have an 11 AM Lecture then a 1 PM Lab with random spaces of time in the middle that feels too small to get anything accomplished. But after a week on Sunday when you’re stressing about how much you have left to do, you see that these little pockets of time add up.
Using the CloudCal you can black out certain times you know are busy and you can see how much time you have left to accomplish certain tasks.
I hope that you find these as helpful as I found them!
