Freshman year of college is the year to learn new opportunities, improve your study habits, meet new people, and go on adventures you never even imagined. Just because you started college and are on your own for the first time doesn't mean you're too old for Disney movies. Disney films may not have included college in their story lines, but there are some moments that definitely define our college moments, especially in freshman year. Here are 26 things that define our freshman year moments.

1. When you enter campus for the first time

Can you imagine campus being a new fantastic point of view and a dazzling place you never knew, despite long hours of studying and the need to work your bottom off to achieve wonderful grades? Because college is all of these things.

2. . . . then you realize how the real world is

Responsibilities, finances, grades, organization, and relationships. A messy, but beautiful world.

3. When you understand what your dreams are

Make your dreams happen, don't wait.

4. When you're nervous about meeting new people

This is why you should be yourself. Don't assume people won't like you. College is where you're most likely to make life-long friends.

5. When you realize your purpose in college

Don't forget about hitting the books, but please, have fun.

6. When you run into a guy, but you're so nervous you embarrass yourself by babbling

Besides being the princess of Arendelle, Anna must be the Queen of Blabbering. No need to feel alone!

7. Imagining going to a dance like . . . .

This will save us hours to get ready, huh?

8. When you know where you stand and what you want to do

Know where you stand, find your voice, and fill the silence.

9. When someone doubts you

Stay away from people who underestimate you. I mean, seriously. What could be more important than intelligence?

10. When you feel like there's more than just sitting in class

Clubs, visiting town, and meeting new people.

11. When you feel like you just don't get it

What a disaster to feel like you get it, but then you don't.

12. Trying to balance your schoolwork . . .

That must hurt to have a plate of pancakes land on your head.

13. When you realize there's more than studying

The learning, meaning, and adventure in college in this provincial life.

14. Aiming for an excellent grade like . . .

Practice your aim by studying and understanding the material. An excellent aim doesn't happen overnight.

15. Trying to absorb the study material like . . .

This would be nice if it helps, but whatever you do, READ THE INFO AND TAKE NOTES!!

16. When you're so frustrated with your loaded schedule, but try your best to keep your cool

We're okay, we're all okay.

17. When you're not too pleased with your Campus I.D. photo

When are we ever ready for pictures?

18. Making a list of things you need

Flowers and chocolate would be great right now, and especially no more empty promises.

19. Hearing these words of wisdom from a loved one

Easy paths may not be full of satisfaction. The right path is more worth it than the easy one.

20. When you realize you need to go to the gym

Olaf defined our thoughts of wanting to avoid the Freshman Fifteen.

21. Asking yourself if college is the right path

College is WAAAAAYYYYYY different that elementary, middle, and high school.

22. Trying to tell yourself to stay strong

Keep your chin up, your crown is falling. Rule your empire and make good choices.

23. Peter Pan defining college

Don't look back, move forward.

24. Trying to reassure your parents you got this

I'm a big girl who can slay and succeed.

25. When you're annoyed with drunk idiots at a party

Only thing I can agree with the villainous uncle.

26. Reuniting with your family like . . .

How cute, my heart!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
