25 Ways To Procrastinate Studying For A Test

1. Send apology text to parents for writing this instead of studying for said test.

2. Tag friends in memes on Facebook. "This is so you LOL!"

3. Post an Instagram from a time that was fun, because studying is not.

4. Write out everything else you have to do for the week in your planner.

5. Get something to eat. Nourishment is important after all.

6. Think of careers that you could have even if you didn’t do well on this test.

7. Invite friends over to do work. Then spend the whole time talking instead.

8. Take a BuzzFeed quiz on which character you would be in One Tree Hill. Get “Brooke Davis” and reward yourself on being so awesome with a break from "studying."

9. See what’s new on iTunes.

10. Craft a playlist for studying so you can enjoy it when you eventually get to the studying part.

11. Snapchat your #1 with all 20 filters. Got to keep the streak anyways, so might as well…

12. Look up swimsuits online because Spring Break is coming up. Got to remember the SB diet we promised we would do.

13. *reach for bag of chips approximately 5 minutes later… Who are we kidding?

14. Calculate the worst grade you could get on the test to remain doing acceptably well in the class.

15. Apply to internships!! This is more helpful to careers than this silly test anyways, amirite?!

16. Clean out your email. (while simultaneously checking the spam for good deals)

17. Plan a trip to the mall to utilize these deals, @ 50% off aerie, I see you.

18. Call your grandma. This is definitely a better use of time than studying, no arguments.

19. Go to the library because you will be more productive there… probably.

20. Check your mail on the way, maybe that letter to Hogwarts finally came.

21. Grab a Starbucks. You have to be awake to focus anyways. #logic

22. Find the perfect study spot. Atmosphere makes a difference. You’re helping your future self… really.

23. Write a sarcastic obituary because you’re dramatic and this test will be the end of everything.

24. Print out your study guide with utter disdain and stare at it, hoping by osmosis you will just learn all of the material.

25. Stop using this article as a distraction, give up and actually start studying.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
