There are so many wonderful things to look forward to in college, but if we're being honest, the number of things that annoy us about college are probably even. Here are twenty three annoying every day occurrences that college students deal with on a daily basis.

1. One or two people taking up an entire table which could seat four people.

2. Someone who is riding a bicycle on the sidewalk and literally flies by you but then complains that you're in their way.

3. People who play their music for everyone to hear.

4. Finding a parking spot.

5. When someone takes your unassigned seat in a class.

6. Using the pedestrian crossing but there's a car that pulled up too far, so you walk in from of them like:

7. Visual representation of students walking to class in 8-degree weather at 8 AM.

8. When your backpack feels like it weighs more than you do.

9. When college gets so expensive it's almost like you're paying for the air you breathe and the fancy sidewalks that you walk on. Students are paying for housing, meal plans, books, enrollment, fees, permits, etc.

10. When your phone or computer is on 10% and you know you won't be home for a few hours but there's no outlet in the classroom or anywhere around you.

11. When you're walking around campus and there are too many people around.

12. When your professor calls on you to answer a question and you have no idea what the question was, but you tried anyway.

13. Those people who walk so slowly in front of you.

14. Have you ever had numerous tests in one week or maybe even on the same day?

15. If one person gets sick, everyone gets sick.

16. Sometimes your professors will be more clueless than you are.

17. When one person answers all the questions in a class discussion.

18. When the professor is asking questions that no one knows the answer to, so you stare at each other for ten minutes in silence.

19. When the dates in your syllabus are wrong and your professor still expects you to know when to turn things in.

20. When a professor emails you at 9 PM to tell you that there is an assignment due at midnight.

21. Professors that don't respond to emails.

22. Buying textbooks just for the access code because you're forced to buy the "bundle."

23. When you think you have everything under control and then something unexpected happens.

24. When it randomly rains and you weren't prepared.

25. When It's 1 AM and you want to go to sleep but your GroupMe won't let you.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
