25 Reasons That We All LOVE Chick-fil-A
Chick Fil A Murfreesboro

What's not to love about this Christ- centered, family- oriented, chicken-serving restaurant? Chick-fil- A, we love you so, and here are 25 reasons to prove it!

1. "My pleasure!"

Every thank you is answered with a cheerful, "My pleasure!" You never have to worry about the typical annoyed response from the cashier. The friendly faces at Chick- fil- A are always more than ready to get you a refill of that refreshing lemonade and even add a little ice for the road.

2. Chick- fil- A Sauce

Need I say more. You simply can't find it anywhere else. It is one of a kind. And almost convinces you that you need to order the nuggets meal every time.

3. The Sweet Tea

Yes, just yes.

4. Not Just Your Regular Fry

Home of "The Waffle Fry." Don't even bother trying to be healthy and order the fruit cup. Did you even go to Chick- fil- A if you didn't get an order of waffle fries?

5. The Super Efficient Lunch Drive Thru

The line looks 5 miles long, but not to worry. There are plenty of team members taking orders right from your car window to their tablet. And you'll be through line and back to the office in plenty of time to catch that one o'clock meeting (unfortunately). It is the lunch place.

6. Instrumental Praise and Worship Background Music

You catch yourself singing your favorite praise and worship songs while chowing down and wonder why the song is stuck in your head, thinking, "Man Jesus is all every where in here. " It's the instrumentals bud.. Jesus is there too, of course ;)

7. Clean Restrooms

Automatic brownie points. Jesus loves clean restrooms, and so do we!

8. The Original Chicken Sandwich

"We didn't invent the chicken, just the chicken sandwich." The fried chicken on a toasty bun with some pickles to top it off.. It doesn't get much better than that boys.

9. The Ketchup Packets

If they don't have Chick- fil- A dipping ketchup packets, I don't want it. You know the ones with super fun packaging where you can either dip or squeeze, oh yes. When they first came out, you probably smuggled a few home with you. Don't lie; Jesus is watching.

10. Melt In Your Mouth Chocolate Chunk Cookies

There is no cookie like a Chick- fil- A cookie. And almost every time, you get talked into buying the bag instead of just the two cookies, but it's totally worth it, totally worth it.

11. Perfect Playdate Destination

Whether you have your own kids, or you are nannying for the day, or even if you are just a big kid yourself, the play place at Chick- fil- A is the place. Don't try me or any of the four year olds on that.

12. Healthy Options

The beautiful thing about Chick- fil- A is whether you are trying to count your calories or just trying to count your chicken nuggets, you have plenty of delectable selections. The Cobb Salad is simply heavenly, and you can leave full and completely guiltless.

13. BREAKFAST

Is there any other breakfast? Give me those chicken minis, pretty please.

14. Friendly Faces

The Chick- fil- A team is simply the best around. They love Jesus and love you while they're doing it. I've never once seen an employee get frustrated. No matter what kind of day you've had, the smiling faces at the counter can make you feel just a little bit better.

15. The Ice, Ice (..baby)

That crushed ice-- you know exactly what I'm talking about. Speaking of ice, what about that Chick- fil- A ice cream? I'll take two, please.

16. Southern Roots

You can clearly see the Georgia roots. Southern hospitality, peach tea, and fried goodness. It's a southern thing.

17. Commitment to Values

Chick- fil- A stands on Biblical foundations, and they refuse to budge for anyone or anything, no matter how popular or unpopular. This day and age, it is truly remarkable. Praise the Lord for good morals and values in the business world.

18. Closed On Sunday's

Sunday is the Lord's day, and that's the way it should be. Chick- fil- A believes that it's important for their employees to spend Sunday in the presence of the Lord and their own families. It's a love-hate relationship on this; we always seem to want that mouth-watering Chick- fil- A sandwich most on Sunday.

19. The Atmosphere

You just feel like you are sitting around with your family. The energy is positive, and the atmosphere is positive, and it's a beautiful feeling.

20. Seeing God's Faithfulness

You can't say that God isn't faithful when you show up to Chick- fil- A at lunch time on any given day. It is one of the most tangible expressions of God's faithfulness that I've ever seen.

21. It's not really fast food

It is, but it's not. It's so much better. I mean is it fast food? Nah.

22. The Christmas Light drive thru.

The best time of the year for Chick- fil- A is every day, but the absolute best is driving through the Chick-fil- A Christmas light tunnel drive thru. Tis the season for chicken nuggets and waffle fries.

23. The Father- Daughter Ball

It is just the sweetest. Every girl's first prince is always her daddy isn't it?

24. Those are the Lord's Calories.

Don't even count those calories; they belong to the Lord.

25. EVERYTHING.

I mean honestly is there anything that we don't love? Eat more chikin, y'all.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
