Everyone is different, but some questions just seem to be all too common amongst first-time apartment dwellers.

1. Where is the dishwasher/will is start on its own?

2. How many people can actually fit in here?

3. If I don't vacuum today, will anyone notice?

4. Will this one last can fit in the trash can?

5. If I flip the cushion over, will anyone notice the stain on the seat?

6. Does having more rooms mean I can bring more stuff?

7. If I am the last to go to sleep and the first to wake up, will anyone know I slept on the couch and didn't shower last night?

8. Is that my charger or your charger?

9. How could I have dirtied so many dishes in one meal?

10. Can I fit one more box of cereal in the cabinet?

11. Are 11 cartons of ice cream too many?

12. Can someone ever have too many blankets?

13. What do I put on the third empty wall to make it look less like a jail cell?

14. Where can I put my extra, extra pair of sneakers?

15. How do I remove the *insert food here* that I just burned in the frying pan?

16. It's going to take how long to cook that??

17. Would it just be faster to get take out/delivery?

18. Could I already be partially done if I wasn't thinking about take out?

19. Did I remember to turn the oven off?

20. Is it my turn to clean the bathroom already?

21. Is that fur or mold on the *insert produce item here*?

22. I thought sinks were to clean stuff; so do I have to clean the sink too?

23. Can I make it through the whole week without doing dishes?

24. Is there any way to turn the light off without getting out of bed?

25. Will adulting ever get easier?

Most learning happens through mistakes. So feel free to mess up and learn along the way. If all else fails, there are many options for home ec classes!

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
