While Chandler Bing was busy at his job putting in those numbers, you were busy enjoying winter break. Whether you entered a Vanilla Ice look-alike contest and won or had your tailor take advantage of you, in the back of your mind, you were dreading spring semester as much as Chandler despises Janice.

Chandler may not know anything about chicks — fowl or women — but he does know a lot about being hilariously relatable. Here are 23 instances where Chandler was not blah, but a hoot, and essentially described all of us upon coming back to school.

1. You in your 8 a.m. class if you’re not a morning person

2. When that one class turns out to be as awful as you imagined it would be

3. If you have an unusual name that you know the professor will say wrong, you just embrace it

4. You’re in one of those classes where the professor makes everyone go around and introduce themselves, and you manage to screw it up

5. And you recover by saying something like this

6. When that one kid keeps asking questions that the professor has already answered

7. When the professor says that she doesn’t offer extra credit and the exam is worth the majority of the grade

8. And then they keep lecturing even though class is technically over

9. You and your friend in the class are upset about something in the syllabus but you’re too chicken to talk to the professor about it, so you decide to live with it

10. When you have a lot of reading to do for a class you despise

11. You turn in an assignment early and the professor is impressed with your work ethic…

12. … Or you turn it in last minute and later realize that you worded something weird

13. When you’re deciding between “A” and “C” on a multiple choice question and you go with “C,” but the answer turns out to be “A”

14. When you just don’t want to study and find yourself doing completely random and irrelevant things on the internet…

15. … Or you start playing with random objects on your desk…

16. …Or you have deep discussions with yourself

17. When someone is lamenting to you about their stresses while you have your own things to worry about

18. Then they ask for your advice and you don’t know what to do

19. When the stress of school is getting to you and you try to stay positive

20. When you go to your usual study spot and someone is at your table and you want to tell them to move

21. When the relief of the weekend is finally here and you seriously need to relax…

22. … and work the tension out

23. But then your friends show up and want to hang out

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
