As my 21st birthday has passed, here are 21 major things I have learned these past 21 years.

1. You Only Live Once aka YOLO

This phrase was huge back in 2012 but it's so true. Live every day like it's your last and live to the fullest!

2. There will always be drama.

Whether it's between your friend group or with a boyfriend, unfortunately, you will run into drama.

3. Make as many friends as you can.

Just make sure they are kind and genuine people that you will want to be around.

4. But you will lose friends along the way.

It happens to the best of us.

5. Go to concerts.

See every band you can because none of them will be around forever.

6. Don't be petty.

You probably have a very fortunate life so don't take things for granted.

7. Work hard to play hard.

Never ever let your grades slip because nothing is more important than doing well.

8. Live a healthy lifestyle.

Body weight and appetites may change but work hard to be happy with who you are.

9. Travel the world.

Go to as many places as you can but even a day trip to the beach is better than nothing.

10. Time management is key.

Prioritize and get things done!

11. Have a smile on your face at all times.

It will put you in a good mood and make those around you happy as well.

12. Be a little crazy.

Everyone is weird in their own way!

13. Go to sporting events.

You don't want to be that guy that has never experienced things.

14. Push yourself

Never take no for an answer!

15. Dream big.

You are the only one that can make your dreams a reality.

16. Jam in the car!

Get some of your closest friends and blast your music!

17. It's okay to cry.

Let your emotions out. No one will judge you.

18. It's worth it to buy that expensive makeup.

If you look good, you feel good ;)

19. Save your money.

Life and real expenses will enter your life so be prepared for when it happens by saving your money.

20. Eat junk food.

Not too much but it's okay to treat yourself once in a while!

21. Love yourself!

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
