21 Shows From Your Childhood That You Almost Forgot About

As I flip through the television channels, I come across many crappy television shows. Watching TV with my brothers is not easy to do. The shows that have replaced my childhood shows will never be as great. Here's a reminder in case you forgot what the world's greatest shows were:

1. Bear in the Big Blue House

Nothing will touch your heart like the goodbye song.

2. PB&J Otter

Perfect for watching while I was eating my Peanut Butter and Jelly lunch!

3. Rolie Polie Olie

A child's favorite story about a family of robots. What could be better than that?

4. Rocket Power

Otto Rocket was always able to make me feel like a skater dude.

5. Recess

Maybe this is where my inspiration to be a class clown came from.

6. Lizzie McGuire

One of my personal favorites. Hilary Duff always knows how to speak to my heart.

7. That's So Raven

The first time we learned to love the super natural world.

8. The Amanda Show

Amanda Bynes at her finest. The one who taught us how to be humorously obnoxious.

9. Phil of the Future

Phil and his family left the year 2121... and never warned us about the election of 2016. Not very happy about this...

10. The Suite Life of Zack and Cody

Everyone was obsessed with these twins at one point in their childhood... and it didn't stop in the hotel...

11. The Suite Life on Deck

The transition from "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" to "The Suite Life on Deck" was the moment when most pre-teen girls transitioned from crushing on Dylan Sprouse to crushing on Cole Sprouse... or was that just me?

12. Unfabulous

Addie Singer's embarrassing moments and issues with braces was something that we could all relate to.

13. Drake & Josh

Drake and Josh never failed to make you laugh and perfectly summed up your family dynamics.

14. Life with Derek

Speaking of family... This also is an accurate description of family craziness, and even if you couldn't relate to the craziness, you loved watching it.

15. CatDog

There was nothing like growing up, wishing you could have a CatDog as a real pet.

16. Hannah Montana

Just about all of the girls out there were wishing that they could have the best of both worlds.

17. Out of the Box

The world's coolest clubhouse!

18. The Proud Family

Penny Proud wasn't most people's number one favorite, but she's definitely one of the most memorable characters of our childhoods.

19. Rugrats

The one show that we could actually relate to while still in diapers..

20. All Grown Up

And, then, again once we were out of diapers.

21. Kim Possible

he unstoppable. Enough said.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
