You hear it all the time: "TV was so much better when I was a kid." Even as someone who was pretty exclusively into Disney Channel as a youngster, I have to agree that TV programming, for children at least, has gone downhill. It seems every show is either a "rip-off" or reboot of the shows before it. Some of these have merit such as "Raven's Home" the spin-off of "That So Raven." Along with "Girl Meets World" the sequel to "Boy Meets World." But does the success of these shows, and primarily these shows, tell us something about children's TV now versus the 90's - 00's? Instead of fretting over the cringe-worthy shows our children will one day watch, let's take a trip down memory lane.
