Soon, I will be turning 21.
I've always considered this to be the age at which a person is really a "full-blown" adult because they usually are taking on a lot more responsibilities.
Before I turn 21, I want to complete my tiny bucket list of things I've been wanting to do.
1. Start taking more pictures.
2. Register to vote.
I know, I KNOW. It's terrible that I'm still not registered to vote...But I will for sure try to do it before my 21st birthday!
3. Take myself out to dinner.
4. Spend more time with my friends and family.
5. Sign up for a credit card.
I need to start building credit somehow - even if that's just me buying gas and groceries on a general credit card.
6. Start going to the gym.
7. See a movie by myself.
8. Learn how to change a tire.
Learning how to change a tire on my own and other things that could help me in an emergency are incredibly important.
9. Stop worrying about what people think of me.
10. Read a new novel.
11. Re-read my favorite novel.
12. Purge my closet.
I have SO many things that I need to get rid of. I've been avoiding taking time out of my day to go through all of my things, but I think the best time to do it would be before my birthday.
13. Write a letter to my older self.
14. Teach myself how to cook a new, fancier meal.
15. Start eating healthier.
16. Do something adventurous.
I'm not the most daring person, but I definitely want to do something adventurous before my birthday.
17. Spend an entire day without my cell phone.
18. Find ways to build my self-confidence.
19. Teach myself a new skill.
20. Spend an entire day focusing on myself and MY happiness.
21. Find a fun way to celebrate my 21st.
I usually don't do anything TOO big for my birthday, but this year I want to actually make some sort of plans.
