9 Outfits To Help You Shine This NYE

Personally, I won't be doing much to celebrate the New Year because I will be getting my wisdom teeth out on the 31st, BUT I am here to help you with your New Year's Eve party fashion needs. I am no expert at styling clothes, but taking a look at and keeping in mind some iconic and go-to trends of both 2019 and classic New Years, I think I have compiled some looks that will help you ring in the new year with a bang. I feel like a chance to dress up for New Year can be a chance to go all out. So I've included some looks for those who are all about the drama, but I also included looks that were more dressed down or casual.

1. A classy look, complete with shine and feathers.

To be honest, I was a little iffy on the feather shoes, but I think they actually make the look. A statement piece can really tie things together.

2. A feminine twist on the common blazer NYE look.

I think this look is what I was thinking of when I decided to create this content. I love the idea of a velvet blazer and heels, for some reason. Like the feminine, more classy version of that guy who tried to stand out at high school prom.

3. A grungy t-shirt dress look.

Not everyone is looking to dress to the nines on New Year's Eve, so this is a great grungy look that may just be a little different than an everyday look.

4. A bold patterened look.

Some may say you can't mix patterns, but I think the stripes and polka dots in this look are fabulous. The splash of color also begs attention that is very well deserved.

5. A little bit of a throwback look.

This modern twist of a classic 70s look is honestly my favorite look here. Bell bottoms, vintage t-shirts, and sherpa/wool denim jackets have all made a comeback in 2019, but I can't even be mad at it.

6. A dressed up casual look.

This is a very realistic, obtainable look that would be easy to put together. Not everyone is going to raving parties to start the new year, although it would be great for that, as well.

7. A very colorful sweater look.

I immediately fell in love with the sweater and boots. I love them even more together.

8. A cozy and chic look.

For a more classy and chic look, you can't exactly go wrong with all black and a nice scarf and fashionable beret. The silver accessories really pulls the look all together.

9. Finally, the drama we all need.

Being New Year's Eve, there is a perfect chance to finally pull out that statement dress you only get to wear every once in a while. The feathers. the glitter, the high heels, the big earrings. This outfit has it all. It'll leave everyone stunned, for sure.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
