Last night the Democrats had their presidential debate between the candidates, In this 3-hour debate, the first 20 minutes that all 12 candidates talk about was the impeachment process of President Trump.
For 3-hours not one question about immigration, climate change, or the housing crisis in America. These candidates and moderators were criticized by the media because their main focus was on the President. If they are going to be running against Trump you would think they would talk about what they plan to do if they become president.
When Aderson Cooper questioned Joe Biden about his son Hunter, Cooper said that the president was falsely accusing Hunter Biden, Cooper is biased by wording his question like that, Biden himself should have said that Trump was falsely accusing his son not Cooper.
When senator Warren was asked how was she going to pay for Medicare for all, was she going to raise taxes on the middle class, she completely dodges the question by saying, "that she has made clear on what her principles are that the cost would go up for the wealthy and big corporations". This is not answering what the moderator is asking.
You would think that if you are one of the democratic presidential front runners you would answer the questions and talk about what you plan to do if you do become president. But she didn't do that.
The debate aired on CNN, CNN is known to be very biased and liberal, so focusing on the president and not what matters, like our health care, economy and all the homeless veterans we have in this country.
Even some of the candidates criticized the moderators about the questions that were asked. If CNN thought that focusing on the impeachment process of the president is what people wanted to hear, they are completely wrong.
One of the biggest criticisms came when Anderson Cooper asked the closing question,
"Last week, Ellen DeGeneres was criticized after she and former President George W. Bush were seen laughing together at a football game. Ellen defended their friendship, saying, 'We're all different and I think that we've forgotten that that's OK, that we're all different,'" Cooper said to the 12 candidates on stage."So in that spirit, we'd like you to tell us about a friendship that you've had that would surprise us and what impacts it's had on you and your beliefs."This should have never even been a question, this has nothing to do with the candidates, the president or what is going on in this country.
So why didn't the debate have questions on climate change, women's rights, immigration policy, our foreign policy, and the economy?
The big question is out of these 12 candidates which one if any are capable to be our president? And what the hell is their plan for our country, the most that they talk about is Medicare for all, the green new deal which is both astronomically expensive, and that they want to take away our guns.
I think we need better gun control but not taking away a citizen's rights to bear arms. We need to fix our immigration policy and send back any illegals, they should have to go through the same processes that we have to become citizens in other countries.
I don't think anyone of these candidates could run this country the way it needs to be if anything the way they are talking we would be in more trouble then what we are right now.
