Ah, back to school season; a time filled with Office Depot bargains and crippling anxiety. While the beginning of school brings with it a new start and old friends, it can be a bittersweet occasion. Here are some of the thoughts one may find floating around their head while heading back to school!

1. OK, new year, new me. I can do this.

2. I'm in college, and I still cry every time I leave my parents.

3. Don't let them see you cry because then they will cry.

4. I just have to avoid the dog altogether.

5. Do dogs feel abandonment?

6. I've seen enough Sarah Mclachlan commercials to know the answer to that.

7. Well, glad to know the entire world can fit in a Ford Taurus and a Honda Accord.

8. I really don't need all this stuff.

9. Actually, I really do need all this stuff and probably more stuff.

10. Do I have time for one more trip to Office Depot?

11. I don't have enough cute erasers shaped like macaroons!

12. Don't have a panic attack

13. DON'T have a panic attack.

14. OK, you are having a panic attack. Breathe.

15. I feel like I'm preparing to go into battle.

16. I bet this is what it feels like to be on Big Brother.

17. Can I drop out and just go on Big Brother?

18. I will do all the reading this year.

19. Hahahahahaha who am I kidding? I'm not going to start now.

20. When is fall break again?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
