20 Thoughts You Have During The LF Sale
LF instagram

It's that time again: the LF sale. Twice a year, girls from all over the United States flock to the closest LF store to them. The LF sale is a perfect place to find the trendiest clothes of the season for 60 percent off. Let me rephrase that -- everything in the store is 60 percent off. The catch is, you never know when the sale is going to happen. All you know is it is right before they get their winter collection and summer collection. As the normal sale season approaches, girls reload their Instagram feed waiting for the exciting news of the LF sale beginning and within hours, the store looks like it has been attacked by animals.

This past weekend, I ventured off to NYC to go to the sale and here are a list of thoughts I had while I was there.

1. Why is nothing folded?

2. How am I supposed to find anything.

3. This is a freaking scavenger hunt.

4. (Finds cute item.) Oh, it's not my size -- not like I'm going to find that cute shirt again.

5. No wonder they have chairs -- this is tiring.

6. (Finds cute item in my size.) I found the hidden treasure.

7. This sweater is originally $218, but it is adorable -- I'm going to refrain from doing the math and just try it on.

8. I probably have, like, $1,000 worth of clothes in my hands. It's time to try some stuff on.

9. Of course, the dressing room line is so long -- I guess I'll just have to keep shopping until it gets shorter.

10. (Picks up another 10 items.)

11. Why is the girl working here trying to convince me to try something on in an XS? That won't even cover my right boob.

12. If my mom ever came here, she would leave within five minutes.

13. I think the store is at capacity -- I literally can't move without touching another human.

14. Do they even get customers during the regular season?

15. Why is the girl working here handing me more clothes?

16. Finally time to try things on.

17. Of course, I love the sweater.

18. And the jeans.

19. And the 10 other sweaters I tried on...

20. I mean I only come here twice a year -- I guess I can get it all right? I mean it is 60 percent off.

The LF sale is definitely a once-in-a-season shopping experience that I don't think I could handle more than twice a year. If you haven't been to the LF near you yet, make sure to go soon before the sale ends!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
