Anyone that knows me personally knows that I'm a senior in high school and that I graduate in about 5 months. Then, I'm off to Rowan next year!

Even though there are a few things I will actually miss about high school, there are probably a lot more things that I WON'T miss about being trapped in this jail for 35 hours a week. Here is a list of things that I (and probably 99.9% of graduating seniors) won't miss about high school.

1. Cliques of girls that talk about how "real" their friends are, but they’re all actually the fakest girls in the school.

2. F*ckboys.

3. Waking up at 5 in the morning.

4. The same routine every day.

5. Being forced to have to deal with people every day that I do NOT want to deal with.

6. Hours of homework every night that is due the next day (that I probably wind up doing only half of).

7. Having to ask to go to the bathroom.

8. The stupid drama over dumb boys that won't matter in a few years.

9. The fact that sitting alone at lunch is not socially acceptable.

10. Being tired all day because I went to bed at 2 in the morning because I had so much homework and then I have to wake up at 5.

11. Needing a teacher to write you a pass before you go literally ANYWHERE in the building.

12. Designated times to eat.

13. Sweating in gym class and then having to go through the rest of the day.

14. Spending 35 hours a week in school, or more when you participate in extracurricular activities.

15. Taking a math class that I will never ever use in life.

16. The dress code.

17. Carrying around a backpack that weighs a thousand pounds.

18. Pop quizzes.

19. Gross school lunches.

20. PDA in the halls.

Even though this is a list of all the things I hate about high school that I can't wait to escape from, there are a few things that I will actually miss about high school. Unfortunately, this is not the time to discuss those things, but I will discuss them eventually.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
