There’s nothing wrong with being completely obsessed with dogs. In fact, I think it makes you a better person. Any dog lover would agree. Here are 20 signs you’re a crazy dog lady.

1. When you see a dog on the street, you can’t resist the urge to pet it.

2. Half your photos on your phone are of your dog or selfies with your dog.

3. People tell you that you post too many pictures of your dog.

4. You have photos saved on your phone of all the dogs you plan to have one day.

5. That list consists of more than 5 dogs.

6. You refer to your dog as your son or daughter.

7. You miss social events to hang out with your dog.

8. You celebrate your dog’s birthday.

9. You have full on conversations with your dog, or any dog for that matter.

10. You allow your dog to take up the entire bed and don’t complain about it.

11. If your dog doesn’t like a person, you don’t like that person.

12. "Marley & Me" was the saddest movie you’ve ever seen.

13. You don’t mind the wet, slobbery kisses.

14. Who needs a boyfriend when you have a dog.

15. All dogs somehow like you (even the not-so-nice ones).

16. You actually cry when you say goodbye to your dog when you leave for long periods of time (Maybe short ones too).

17. If someone insults your dog, you get extremely defensive and have to restrain yourself from physically harming them.

18. You embrace the dog hair all over every item of clothing.

19. Your dog has too many toys, and that is totally okay.

20. You simply like dogs more than people.

That just about sums it up. If you can relate to these, I hate to break it to you, but you are crazy dog lady. But you probably already knew that. Embrace it.

When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
