As I got older I learned a lot of things both good and bad. I had to learn my share of the tough lessons as well as the good ones. So here's a list of things I learned before I turned 20.

1. Forget all the reasons why it won't work and and believe the one reason why it will.

- a lot of things can be done when you have a little faith in what you are capable of.

2. Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day.

- this can be something as big as a raise or something as simple as a hug.

3. A negative mind, will NEVER give you a positive life.

4. Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection.

5. Let your smile change the world, but don't let the world change your smile.

6. Having a soft heart in a cruel world is courage, not weakness.

7. Be there for others, but never leave yourself behind.

8. you have to be there for yourself before you can be there for others.

9. Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.

10. Some people aren't loyal to you, they are loyal to their need of you, once their need changes so does their loyalty.

11. When something feels off, it usually is.

12. Don't wait for someone to bring you flowers. Plant your own garden.

13. sometimes all you really need is a hug and a listening ear.

14. Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance on the rain.

15. Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

16. Your value doesn't decrease based on someone's inability to see your worth.

17. Your struggle is NOT an indication of failure.

18. Mistakes are proof that you're trying.

19. Grief never ends.... but changes. It's a passage, not a place to stay. grief is not the sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith....... It's the price of love.

20. Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
