The best lessons are the ones learned through experience. I’ve realized a few things in my twenty years on this earth. Though I’m still young and I have a lot left to learn, I hope that I can offer at least one small tidbit of knowledge to someone.

1. Learn to laugh at yourself.

2. You're beautiful just the way you are.

3. Never be ashamed to cry

4. Everything happens for a reason.

5. Breakups are not the end of the world.

6. Get in the habit of using a planner in high school, it will really help in college.

7. It's okay to be single.

8. You are never too old to watch cartoons.

9. Remember to take care of yourself.

10. Real friends don't force you to do things you don't want to do.

11. Try to read at least one book during summer break.

12. Don't be afraid to admit when you need help.

13. Every now and then, you'll fell like you're going insane, and that's perfectly normal.

14. Not everyone deserves a second chance.

15. Make an effort to try new things.

16. No one really has it all figured out.

17. Know what you can and cant handle.

18. Make time to hang out with friends whenever you can.

19. Don't try to cram the night before a test.

20. Always be yourself.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.
