All need those days where we can just chill in our PJ's, grab a hair brush, and sing to our heart's content.
There's no better feeling than singing super badly and NOT getting judged for it (am I right or what?). However, there are some days that we attempt to rock down the house and we lose inspiration. What songs should I sing? How can I guarantee that I will feel great and my "audience" will love it?
Well look no further! Here are 20 songs that guarantee an amazing jam session:
1. Walking on Sunshine: Katrina and the Waves
Yes, it feels good! Alright now!
2. Hey Ya!: OutKast
You can't deny that you can shake it like a polaroid picture.
3. Single Ladies: Beyonce
JUST KIDDING *raises hands in the air because I really don't care*
4. I Write Sins Not Tragedies: Panic! At The Disco
ICONIC. *drops mic*
5. Misery Business: Paramore
"In the business of misery let's take it from the top, she's got an hour glass she's..." I should probably stop singing before I embarrass myself.
6. Toxic: Britney Spears
We all know that we picked up the nearest hairbrush and strutted like Britney did.
7. How Far I'll Go: Moana
How can you not feel inspired by this song? The power and message this song provides is amazing.
*Side Note*: Have you seen this video of the little girl really getting into the song at here school performance? If not, you're missing out.*
8. Bohemian Rhapsody: Queen
While this song is fun with a wide range of voices in your friend group, I dare you to sing this song by yourself to see how many voices you can do to make the song amazing!
9. Closer: Chainsmokers ft. Halsey
The musical interludes are just THAT catchy. You can't not head bob in your car when this song comes on.
10. Welcome to the Black Parade: My Chemical Romance
This is the teenage head bang, air guitar, and inner rockstar that everyone needs at some point in their life.
11. Don't Stop Believing: Journey
This song is so cliche, but it definitely deserves a spot on this list. I'm more of an original gal than the Glee version, but whichever suits your fancy. It makes a great jam out regardless!
12. Don't Stop the Party: Pitbull
I don't know about you, but I can't help but pump my fist up like Pitbull does when he sings this live (and makes his album covers). Don't even try and resist the temptation.
13. Happy: Pharrell Williams
There may or may not be video proof out there of me dancing to this song in my dorm room with sunglasses on and a straw broom in my hand...
14. Uptown Funk: Mark Bronson ft. Bruno Mars
One of the only instances where Bruno calls the police AND the fireman. (See what I did there?)
15. Can't Hold Us: Macklemore ft. Ryan Lewis
You're good the first few seconds of the song, but then Macklemore busts out this insane rap that I don't think anyone can get. At least no one I know.
#ChallengeAccepted
16. I Will Wait: Mumford and Sons
I've got to give a lot of credit to Mumford and Sons. While they have unique songs, they made it familiar enough to be respected by a lot of people. This is only one song by them, but there are others that deserve a round of applause too.
17. I Love it: Icona Pop
Why you would crash your car into a bridge I will never understand.
18. Glamorous: Fergie
I'm not even ashamed to admit that I can sing through the whole first verse without a breath... okay maybe I am. BUT that still doesn't change the fact that you can wear your sassy pants and jam out to this song.
19. Barbie Girl: Aqua.
The silliness of this song correlates well with the awesomeness of the jam out that goes with it. I recommend really getting into it by playing it on Just Dance.
20. Baby Got Back: Sir Mix-A-Lot
You have to admit that you knew all the words to this song in the correct order at one point in your life. I sure did. All throughout high school as a matter of fact.
BOOM. 20 Jam out songs that you can always turn to if you're feeling blue or have the urge to dance. Have fun, and dance on.
