These things all have a way of making me smile or cheering me up on a rainy day. We all need little pick me ups when life gets rough. Don't forget to appreciate the little things in life.

1. Green Tea.

This is literally that drink that will fix all of your problems. Need to lose some weight, want to do a detox or feeling sluggish. Green tea is always the answer.

2. Sunsets.

I've always been a sucker for a beautiful sunset. It shows that endings can be great.

3. Cats.

Anyone who knows me knows I'm a cat lover and that will never change.

4. Friday Night Lights.

There's nothing better than seeing my man in his jersey. I truly miss FNL and they will always have a special place in my heart.

5. Volleyball.

I keep telling myself I will get back on the court someday. That remains to be seen. The passion I have for this sport is like nothing I've ever experienced before.

6. Hugs.

I am not a touchy person, but I love a good hug from the right person. It always hits the spot.

7. Sushi.

I will never get tired of eating sushi.

8. Fire Pit Nights.

They're always filled with friends, family, laughs and a very interesting time.

9. "Friends."

This show is honestly my life. I relate any and every situation I'm in back to this show. It's kind of sad.

10. Vans.

They have been my newest addiction lately. I need every pair in every color.

11. Perfect Messy Buns.

Every girl and/or guy knows you can not achieve a perfect messy bun on the first try. It's near to impossible and very frustrating.

12. Makeup.

Again, another obsession.

13. Starbucks Pink Drink.

This is always my go-to drink. It's perfect for every season, year-round. I'm always constantly craving it.

14. Laughing.

Do you ever have a really good laughing session and it just hits the spot? Like you didn't know you needed it and it just gives you joy. Those are the best.

15. Taking Pictures.

Lately I've learned that moments come and go pretty quick. I've been taking a lot more pictures to captures them.

16. Ripped Jeans.

They may look poor to you, dad, but I promise it's a fashion trend that I am very happy to be a part of.

17. The Color Black.

I always have on something black. Sometimes my whole outfit is black. I goes with everything and compliments everyone. My hair is even black right now.

18. Donuts.

Krispy Kreme donuts will forever be my weak spot.

19. Water.

This sounds so weird, but yes I appreciate water. I will start to freak out if I don't have water or if I know that there's none nearby.

20. Summer.

Whenever winter comes around I'm always reminded of how ungrateful I was when the sun was around. There's nothing better than having your windows down, being pool side and traveling during the summer.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
