I was never into yoga before, but thanks to free classes offered at my school's fitness center, I'm starting to dabble. It's a relaxing way to exercise, and I enjoy it, but it is in no way easy. Anyone who's tried yoga before will agree.

1. Getting ready makes you feel like a BOSS.

2. It's your first time, so you have to drag a friend along...

3. When you get there, you try to get your mat positioned juuuust right...

4. Maybe you're a little self-conscious...

5. But before you can really worry, you're in your first pose!

6. When the instructor tells you to close your eyes but you have to peek to make sure you're doing the right thing.

7. It starts off slow, just stretching and taking some deep breaths...

8. It's hard to get yourself to relax.

9. But somehow, you do it...

9. And then gets just a little more difficult.

10. You're a little off balance...

11. You might not be able to stretch or bend as much as you're supposed to.

All aboard the struggle bus!

12. Soon, the instructor starts whipping out some serious moves.

And you're like, "How is is possible for anyone to be this flexible?!"

13. You do your best to follow along...

14. But you just can't seem to get yourself into the position you want to be in.

15. When you finally master a pose, you feel AWESOME.

16. And before you know it, you've successfully survived yoga class.

17. You're a little sore, but you feel good!

18. Except when you hear other people talking about how easy it was.

19. But you did enjoy the class, even if it was hard. And you know the only way for it to get easier is to keep going back!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
