Right now, college seniors everywhere are bracing themselves for the final month of their educational career. With such little time left, it's hard to believe that we won't be returning to school in the fall. For some, plans are in place and the future seems certain. But for the rest of us, life after college seems like such a foreign concept. What do we even do without homework? When do I know it's time to wake up without class? I was never taught how to pay my taxes, or buy a house! Sh*t is getting real. Buckle up, but know that we're all in this together!

1. "Wow I graduate in a month! I'm ready! I'm ready! I'm ready!"

I earned this! Bring it on, real world!

2. "What the hell am I going to do with all this free time when I don't have homework to do?"

What is this "free time?" Some type of witchcraft?!

3. "I could use the free time to read so many books for pleasure, or take up yoga, and actually go to bed at a decent hour every night!"

The possibilities are endless!

4. "Orrrrr....I could just binge watch Game of Thrones."

Yep. Definitely binge on "Game of Thrones."

5. "I wonder if I have a test today..."

It's so hard to be prepared when sweet, sweet freedom is SO CLOSE.

6. "I'm practically already graduated, I don't care about homework anymore!"

And my professors can suck it!

7. "Crap, I really have to write this paper though..."

So close to graduation, but not close enough to give up just yet.

8. "I can't wait to get a job and start my career and my life!"

9. *logs onto Monster.com* "Wait, there are no jobs..."

Why did no one warn me about this?

They did?

Oh.

10. "Maybe I can just be a student for the rest of my life."

11. "PEOPLE ARE GETTING ENGAGED?"

Look, I wanna be excited for you but WE ARE MERE CHILDREN!

12. "Here's the plan: I have no plan."

I'm finally gonna be the laid-back Bohemian princess that school never allowed me to be!

13. "My loans are going to cost me HOW MUCH?"

*Gulp*

14. "I wonder if I change my name I can avoid paying loans..."

GENIUS!

15. "No no they're probably prepared for that to happen."

Damn, people have tried everything!

16. "I'm going to travel the world before I get a job!"

I'm 22! I'm gonna live it up! Make mistakes! Meet new people!

17. *Checks bank account* "Maybe I'll just travel my town instead..."

I've budgeted it out and I can afford a trip to...Starbucks.

18. "I'm just going to sit here and cry about being so old."

HOW COULD I HAVE LET THIS HAPPEN?

19. "And sleep. I have four years of sleep to catch up on."

Goodnight, ya'll.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
