I know I stand with a lot of people when I say that I love music. I love all types of music (except for country, sorry). So as someone who loves music a lot, I constantly look for albums that I can listen to and not have to skip a single song. Whether I'm driving and don't want to touch my phone or in the shower and I REALLY don't want to touch my phone, there's always a time that you need these go-to albums. Here are 19 "skip free" albums.
1. Blond- Frank Ocean.
Now, even though this album just came out a few days ago, it still deserves to be on this list. The first time I listened to it, I just let it play with no intentions of skipping any of Frank Ocean's work. And let me tell you, I didn't have to.
2. Channel ORANGE- Frank Ocean.
I don't think any other album can top this one as a whole. There's the perfect amount of rap and the perfect amount of bluesy tunes so that you can just let it play.
3. Trilogy- The Weeknd.
This was the first time we were really introduced to "The Weeknd," and I'm so happy we were. This album is so dark and twisty I love it.
4. Beauty Behind The Madness- The Weeknd.
This album was release right before I left for school last summer. I listened to it almost exclusively on my five-hour drive. Definitely would recommend.
5. Views- Drake.
Like "Blonde," I listened to this album with no intentions of skipping songs. I didn't have to either. This is the perfect album to get ready to, pre-game to, or even workout to.
6. Fetty Wap- Fetty Wap.
If you're anything like me, this album will remind you of hanging out in a basement doing some hordes things. It's the best to listen to when no one has a party playlist made.
7. Man On The Moon -- The End of Day- Kid Cudi.
An oldie, but goodie. Whenever I'm feeling a little old, I put this on and think about the good old year of 2009.
8. Continuum- John Mayer.
9. From Eden- Hozier.
10. My Head Is An Animal- Of Monsters and Men.
I'm grouping these three together because they all make me feel some type of way. If you don't immediately think sitting at the local coffee shop or laying on the beach when hearing these albums you are just plain wrong.
11. Born To Die- Lana Del Rey.
This album is perfect when you're self hating or when you're thinking about dating someone 30 years older than you.
12. A Fever You Can't Sweat Out- PANIC! At The Disco.
This album is a classic. Everyone will know at least a few songs from it. Some fan favorites from it are, "Time To Dance" and "I Write Sins Not Tragedies."
13. Glitterbug- The Wombats.
At first I only started listening to "Greek Tragedy" off of this album, but then I took the time to actually listen to the rest of it and I was not disappointed at all.
14. Blurryface- Twenty One Pilots.
If you're a part of my generation, you have to love at least one song from Twenty One Pilots (I mean, didn't you hear their cover of "Can't Help Falling In Love"?) Some of the songs on this album are definitely over-played on the radio BUT that doesn't reflect on the entire album.
15. Riot!- Paramore.
When I think of Paramore, I think about loving and/or hating the ex-boyfriend I didn't have. This album perfectly wraps that up with each song on it.
16. Homesick- A Day To Remember
This album reminds me of 7th-8th grade, or better known as the best/worst days of your life. The incredibly weird, but incredibly care-free stage. Whenever I need to relive some of those terrible moments, I just let this play.
17. From Under The Cork Tree- Fall Out Boy.
"Sugar, We're Goin Down" and "Dance, Dance" are found on this album and if that isn't enough reason to listen to the rest of the album then I don't know what is.
18. On The Impossible Past- The Menzingers.
Not a ton of people know who The Menzingers are, but if you do consider yourself lucky. "On The Impossible Past" was their third album and arguably their best. This album contains the songs "Casey", "Ava House", and "Gates." If I were you I would definitely listen to ALL of them though.
19. Exile on Mainstream- Matchbox Twenty.
Another oldie, but goodie. This album includes "How Far We've Come" and if that doesn't just make your day a little brighter then I don't know what will. This album is perfect for road trips. *It was really difficult not putting every one of Matchbox Twenty's albums on this list.*
