Do you ever have those days where social interactions seem like the absolute worst idea? Is it extra effort just to look in someone else’s direction? Do people irritate you beyond words? Maybe you’re not a people person.
Everyone has at least some of these tendencies, and sometimes it’s just a result of a bad day. For some people, however, it’s every day. Or, it’s possible that you have no idea where you stand when it comes to your feelings for others. Orange is the New Black is popular for a reason, everyone can relate to it. Hopefully, some of the world’s favorite characters can help you on your journey of self-discovery.
1. You feel like you’re not yourself around others.
2. Talking drains you, and you get a little offended when people try to start a conversation with you.
3. You need a lot of alone-time to re-charge.
4. And most of the time, you’re perfectly OK with being shut off from the world.
5. Because people don’t seem to understand your sense of humor.
6. ...Or your dance moves.
7. In fact, people don’t seem to understand you in general.
8. And this might make you feel pretty awkward in public spaces.
10. But you expect the worst out of everyone, so it justifies your actions.
11. Because being around too many people can make you a little… mad.
12. And sometimes even a little shallow.
13. Of course, you can be nice, but your patience is needle thin.
14. You can’t help that you emotionally identify with food more than your best friend.
15. You constantly zone out in search of relief and miss important parts of a conversation.
16. But you refuse to ask what’s going on because that’s hypocritical, right?
17. Having a good conversation with another human is so rare it resembles a spiritual awakening.
18. But when it happens, it restores a little faith in humanity.
19. So at the end of the day, you shake it all off and go out into the world like the good soul you are.
Can you tell if you're a people person now? Best of luck not socializing!
