Harry Potter enthusiasts let out a triumphant cheer this past week as Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was released in theaters. J.K. Rowling was letting us into the Wizarding World one more time following the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and the excitement could not be contained. If you haven't had a chance to see the film yet and don't want anything spoiled I suggest you stop reading now. However if you did get the chance to carve out some time to see it this past week, here are some of the thoughts you probably had.

1. OH MY GOD.

Like is this real? Is that really that famous Harry Potter tune playing? I'm so excited!

2. Woah has Eddie Redmayne always been this cute?

I mean seriously? I think I missed his glo-up.

3. Woah we're gonna see how American wizards live.

I was a bit sad that we wouldn't be returning to the areas surrounding Hogwarts, but the American aspect is pretty cool.

4. Newt weirdly reminds me of Hagrid.

Obviously he isn't part Giant and he doesn't have a beard, but his love for magical creatures mirrors Hagrid's. Plus he has a dragon in his case and that's such a Hagrid thing to do.

5. I don't trust this Mr. Graves guy.

Something just seems fishy with him.

6. Teeny and Queenie are sister goals.

And I totally ship Jacob and Queenie.

7. This anti-witch family is totally creepy.

Something is definitely off with all of them.

8. I WANT A NIFFLER!

They're super cute! Maybe he'll be able to find enough loose change to help me pay my tuition.

9. Okay what's the deal with this obscurial?

I'm sad for the kid but also WTF?

10. MR. GRAVES HAS A DEATHLY HOLLOWS SYMBOL WHAT?!

Why does he have that? Why'd he give it to Credence? I'm so confused.

11. Ugh Newt is such a thoughtful guy.

He wants to save all the creatures. I love it.

12. Is the thing they tried to kill Newt and Goldstein with sort of like a Pensieve?

They are literally watching their lives flash before their eyes. I guess Dumbledore wasn't the only one with this technology.

13. Okay how does the Lestrange family fit into this mess?

I mean I know Newt was in love with her but who is she? Bellatrix's great-great grandma?

14. CREDENCE NO!

He was so sweet why does he have to be the obscurial?

15. I KNEW GRAVES WAS SKETCHY!

I knew he was sketchy but I didn't think he'd be Grindelwald!

16. Can't Jacob just keep his memory?

Does everyone have to be oblivated? He needs Queenie!

17. IT'S OVER ALREADY?

That was the shortest 2 hour movie ever.

18. I CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH THE NEXT ONES.

J.K. announced there'd be sequels and I cannot wait for them to get here.

Fantastic Beasts definitely played with our emotions, but in the best way.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
