Everyone has their own obsessions and I will admit mine ... It's chapstick. I don't know how or when it started, but I have an obsession with putting on chapstick. Some people think it's a probelm. I've realized over the years that by constantly putting it on, it actually makes my lips more dry. Therefore, I need to put more on and then the cycle never ends. I can't be the only one, though ... can I?

Here are 18 signs are are obsessed with chapstick:

1. You have finished a chapstick before.

It's not impossible!

2. It's upsetting that other people lose their chapstick before finishing it.

How could you possibly not finish it?

3. You don't just have one in one place.

I have one for my desk, one for my backpack, one for my car, etc.

4. You also have a stash in your drawer of back ups.

Just in case you happen to lose one or run out (yeah right).

5. You realize that there are all different kinds.

There are normal ones, tinted ones, extra mosturizing ones, medicated ones, and the list can go on.

6. You take it everywhere you go.

I can't even imagine leaving without it.

7. Sometimes you'll even take two.

Because sometimes you need two options.

8. And then you panic if for some reason you left without it.

This is the worst thing ever. All you really think about is how you want to go home and get it. But you can't. So you find the nearest store to buy a new one.

9. You get frustrated when you don't have pockets or a bag to carry it in.

But there are other solutions! You can stick it in your shoe, on the side of your pants, or even in your bra.

10. You hate sharing it.

This is my chapstick. Get your own.

11. And when your friends ask if you have any, you try to lie about not having it. They know you're clearly lying.

Then you give in and let them use it.

12. The first thing you do after eating is reapply it.

It's just a natural habit.

13. Seeing a new lip balm at the drug store is like heaven.

And even if you don't need it, you got to have it.

14. You apply it so often that you don't even realize it.

It feels like hours have gone by, but in reality, it's been about 20 minutes.

15. As amazing as lipstick looks, you never wear it.

You're always rubbing your lips together and the color goes all over your face. Or when you try to put chapstick on top of it, the chapstick turns a different color.

16. You have your favorite brand, but you still like to use them all.

I always like to buy a different brand when I go to the drug store.

17. There's a difference between the ones that come in sticks, tubes and pots.

And the ones that come in stick form are clearly the best.

18. You know you have an obsession.

I'll admit it.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!
