Graduation. What we all work towards. Despite slaving away for four or more years when it comes sometimes it can be more scary than exciting. While graduation brings a whole slew of new and exciting adventures it also brings an end to the normalcy that we have built. Times of change in our lives are always challenging no matter how rewarding they turn out to be. Sometimes all we need to get through these changes is a little bit of encouragement and something to fall back on. For many of us that can be our faith. Here is a list of Bible verses for graduating seniors to help give them a sense of peace as they are going through a big change in their lives.

1. Deuteronomy 31:8

"The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

2. Jeremiah 29:11-13

3. 1 Timothy 4:12

"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.”

4. Joshua 1:9

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. "

6. Philippians 4:6-7

7. Psalm 105:4

“Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.”

8. Psalm 20:4

10. Deuteronomy 31:6

11. Psalm 32:8

"I will teach you the way you should go; I will instruct you and advise you."

12. Isaiah 58:11

"The LORD will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring. "

13. Proverbs 24:14

"In the same way, wisdom is sweet to your soul. If you find it, you will have a bright future, and your hopes will not be cut short."

14. Matthew 6:27

"Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? "

15. Isaiah 43:19

"Watch for the new thing I am going to do. It is happening already—you can see it now! I will make a road through the wilderness and give you streams of water there."

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
