17 Times that Prove "She's the Man" is Still the Best Movie

2006 gave us a lot of memorable moments in pop culture. We were introduced to "High School Musical" and "Hannah Montana," and all you wanted was the pink Motorola RAZR. But one of the best things 2006 gave us was the movie "She’s the Man." When her school cuts her soccer team, Amanda Bynes’ character, Viola, dresses up as her twin brother Sebastian to join the soccer team at his school, Illyria. Viola falls in love with the team captain and her roommate, Duke, who’s in love with Olivia, who’s in love with Sebastian, who’s actually Viola. Love triangles, comedy, Channing Tatum, soccer – this movie has everything.

The modern day telling of Shakespeare’s "Twelfth Night" and one of the most quotable movies is turning ten, and here are 15 times that prove it’s still the greatest movie of our generation.

1. When Viola-as-Sebastian dumped Monique

You're flat out lying if you say you didn't overuse this line with your friends.

2. When Viola and Monique just couldn't get along.

Again, I used this quote more times than I can count.

3. When Viola gave herself a pep talk.

Confidence is key.

4. When it taught us another use for tampons.

"Beckham does it all the time."

5. When Duke answered his phone.

Nothing says 2006 like dramatically opening a flip phone.

6. When Monique had the highest standards for herself.

"Ew, what are you hitting on me?"

7. When Paul couldn't find the right words.

We've all been there.

8. Literally every time Eunice was on screen

"She's got a little something-something." "Yeah, asthma and headgear."

9. When Duke learned how to flirt.

"My favorite's gouda."

10. When Viola tried to be a debutante.

"Chew like you have a secret."

11. When Viola perfectly summed up dorm life.

"Freshmen dorm's that way, twiglet."

12. When Viola dumped her sexist boyfriend.

Viola really had the best comebacks.

13. When Viola almost forgot to fake this pain.

It's a miracle she made it the whole movie without her secret being exposed.

14. When real Sebastian gave this advice.

Inspiring? Yes. Good advice? Probably not..

15. When Malcolm summed up unrequited love.

He handled the whole 'girl he's in love with is crushing on the new kid, who's actually a girl' situation well.

16. Channing Tatum.

Amazing.

17. When Viola was all of us giving advice.

Honestly, this script is gold.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
