Sometimes it's glossy, sometimes it’s savory, and it’s often sweet -- Glaze is a delicious little addition to dip, drip, or brush onto almost any part of the food pyramid. I may be exaggerating a little by saying this, but glaze is the highlight of my Fall. Sure, I love the various things some may associate with the season, be it following current color trends in fashion and home decor.
I’d rather decorate my meats, breads, vegetables, fruits, desserts, and standalone ingredients in a layer (or two...or three) of melt-in-your-mouth coating, though. I’m just a little bit obsessed. So, I have curated sixteen glazing options that may inspire some dinner ideas and that, hopefully, help you decide on a few flavorful Thanksgiving ‘staples’.
