16 Thoughts That Every Girl Has On Game Day At Auburn University

Honestly, there is absolutely nothing like college game day at Auburn University. However, there are some universal truths that all girls know to be true on these wonderful Saturdays.

1. "There is more sweat than makeup on my face, and I have only been tailgating for 20 minutes.

Girls just wanna enjoy makeup while also enjoying pregame festivities, ya feel?

2. "Is my orange top a burnt orange? Are people judging me for my shade of orange?"

Let's be honest, we are all insecure if our colors are true Auburn colors.

3. "To be honest, the blisters from these wedges are probably bigger than our defense."

Who had the grand idea that girls should wear heels on game day?

4. "WAR EAGLE!!!!!!"

I mean the game hasn't started, but there is so much pride that I feel like I am overflowing Auburn.

5. "Who looks nice enough take a picture of my friends and me?"

Come on, people are intimidating.

6. "So. Much. Sweat."

No explanation needed.

7. "What a lovely day to be in Auburn and not Tuscaloosa."

There is no way that people love Alabama as much as we love Auburn. No way.

8. "The arm workout that I am getting from this shaker should last me about a week."

And I am not complaining.

9. "I wonder if anyone can see me crying while the eagle flies?"

It's beautiful. It's tradition. It's moving.

10. "Hey Gus, wyd??????"

I mean sometimes you have to question.

11. "Daniel Carlson for president!!!!!!!!!"

I think all Auburn fans have quite a deep appreciation for Daniel.

12. "Football may get better or get worse, but at least the band is consistent."

I mean, come on, the band is amazing.

13. "Can you die from sweating too much?"

Solid inquiries to be curious about.

14. "Can you die from having too much school pride?"

Again, solid inquiries to be curious about.

15. "Downtown Auburn looks way more beautiful with the Oaks draped in toilet paper."

The only "roll" I ever want to have in my game day.

16. "I believe in Auburn and love it."

George Petrie said it best himself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
