1. "Which one of these 100 similar photos should I post?"
When we ask our friends to take a photo of us, we should really just ask them "Are you ready to have a photoshoot?" C'mon, options are necessary in order to nail that perfect post.
2. "Are you sure I don't look fat?"
No matter how we pose, or contort our bodies to get the perfect angle, sometimes, it's never enough.
3. "Do you think this will get a lot of likes?"
Let's be real, the ultimate goal is to end up on the popular page.
4. "Would you like it?"
Obviously your BFF's are going to throw the like on your fire photo, but you need that satisfaction before it is uploaded, not after you get the notification.
5. "Do you think *insert love interest's name* would like this photo?"
"Oh my god, totally, you look fire! 🔥 " - all of your friends.
6. "Do you think his ex-girlfriend would be jealous if she saw this photo?"
Every girl watches the new girl on social media, and you want to make sure that when she shows her girlfriends who you are, they all go "Oh no... she's really pretty..." in their heads.
7. "Is this too saturated?"
There is nothing worse than seeing someone look too orange in a photo.
8. "Is it not saturated enough?
But on the contrary, who doesn't love a good tan glow?
9. "What time should I upload?"
Well, with Instagram's new update, people are liking pictures 3+ days after they're uploaded. Yet still, the middle of the night is usually not the best time if you want all of your followers to see your masterpiece.
10. "Is now a good time to upload?"
This is the moment when your friends respond with a generic "yeah sure!!" or "maybe tonight is better!" because they don't actually care when you upload your photo.
11. "Are my teeth too white?"
No one likes a completely FaceTune'd photo... we see what you did there, and you're not fooling anyone.
12. "Are my teeth not white enough?"
o
No one wants to see a photo of someone who has skipped out on their last few dentist appointments either.
13. "Are we sure this goes with my flow?"
Did you know that now they even have apps where you can upload a photo to see if it matches your grid, so that you know BEFORE you upload it to Instagram?
14. "Go like my insta!"
The moment where you send that annoying text in the group chat .5 seconds after you upload your photo just to remind your friends, who already are annoyed with your Insta-obsession, that you've uploaded your finalized project.
15. "I'm deleting it."
Last but not least, the second final decision. This happens after your insta-OCD kicks in and you realize that yes, it is too saturated, and yes, you look fat. You've officially annoyed all of your friends, and your followers. Back to the drawing board.
If your pre-posting ritual goes anything like this, you are, in fact, Instagram obsessed.
