Anyone who goes to Penn State and doesn't live under a rock is well aware that on November 21, 2015 Penn State lost both their white out and senior game to Michigan, 28-16. Here are 16 reasons to remember that we still go to the best school ever:

  1. We still have the largest alumni association in the world, with over half a million graduates.
  2. We have the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, THON.
  3. We have the largest Greek community in the country.
  4. State College was ranked the third best college town in the U.S.
  5. We were ranked the number one student section by the NCAA.
  6. We still have the S-Zone.
  7. We also have the second-largest football stadium in the country, holding 108,782 people.
  8. It’s also the fourth-largest stadium in the world.
  9. Ben and Jerry took a $5 correspondence course on ice cream making at Penn State and with a little investing they opened their first ice cream shop in a renovated gas station.
  10. The Berkey Creamery is the largest university creamery in the world.
  11. One out of every nine Pennsylvanians with a bachelor's degree graduated from Penn State.
  12. One out of every 117 people in the United States with a bachelor's degree graduated from Penn State.
  13. We have the largest career fair east of the Mississippi.
  14. Penn State is believed to be the first school to adopt the lion as its mascot.
  15. Keegan-Michael Key graduated from Penn State.
  16. We know that next year’s white out game will be just as crowded and just as fun.

I hope that his hundreds of classic rock songs and famous high energy performances, even in his sixties he can put on better concerts than people half his age, are at least recognizable to people of all ages. Love him or hate him (I identify with the former) you have to admit that some of his songs and interviews have inspirational quotes and lyrics.
