Unfortunately, summer is coming to an end since our friends are already moving into their dorms, taking their return flights, buying school supplies (ugh), and ACTUALLY finalizing their class schedules (I know right, whaaaaaat?!) However, here's a slightly funny article to lighten up the mood! Summer vacation unleashes our different personalities, interests, disinterests, and limits. There are so many different types of people you meet in the summer. Find yourself on this list; which summer person are you?

1. The Foodie

The foodie has watched all of those Tasty and Insider videos and they are ready to tag you along with them last minute even if they're broke. #Foodislife?

2. The Student

The full-time student is taking at least one class in the summer because, #schoolislife?

3. The Adventurer

The adventurer is a risk-taker and thrill-seeker, so they are willing to bring you swimming with them...even if they don't know how to swim. Oh, they're also willing to take you to the scariest roller coaster although they are afraid of heights. #Riskislife?

4. The Traveler

The traveler has visited most of Europe and Asia within the past two months of summer. For the traveler, there's no in between. You either see all of it, or none of it. #Travelingislife?

5. The Napper

The napper can nap anywhere without any reason. The napper is usually someone who sleeps really late or doesn't sleep AT ALL (at the appropriate time) so they make up for it by taking numerous naps within a day. #Napsarelife?

6. The Beach Roamer

The beach roamer has visited all of the beaches so if you need any recommendations, feel free to ask them about the one you are planning to go to...even if it's 3 continents away. #Beachislife?

7. The Instagram-er

The instagram-er religiously updates you about their life through Instagram, not Snapchat. Don't even bother checking their Snap story, it's all on the 'gram. #Gramislife?

8. The Binger

The Binger has completed over 20 series this past summer. The Binger doesn't know what the sun looks like, or what civilization this summer looked like. The Solar Eclipse? Heck, they didn't even know that was a thing. #Netflixislife?

9. The Swimmer

Did someone say pool? Pool party? If it's tomorrow at 6, I'll be there in 10 minutes. #Waterislife?

10. The Party Animal

The party animal is partying every single night. Even if the party's in their living room, by themselves.

11. The Worker

"Wanna have brunch tomorrow?" Don't even bother asking the work-driven friend this question, chances are they're working. #Workislife?

12. The Addict

The addict is someone who has wholeheartedly dedicated themselves to one thing this summer, either it be games or working. #Dedicationislife?

13. The Social Butterfly

The social butterfly is the person who says "I don't care what's the plan, I'm in!" #BeingSocialislife?

14. The Confused Kitty

What was I supposed to accomplish this summer? Was there a hangout I missed? What day of the week is it? #Confusionismislife?

15. The Overachiever

The overachiever has planned their schedule for next Spring, job applications, resume, CV, and anything else career-oriented. #Planningislife?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
