Sorority recruitment: a wondrous, yet disastrous time. It's a week and a half roller coaster filled with exhilarating highs and perpetual lows. It's fun, but exhausting. It's almost a full time job, but it's all worth it when you get to see the smiles on new members' faces. You're hand-selecting the next generation of your chapter, and it's so rewarding. Here are 15 thoughts that go through sorority girls' minds during recruitment season.

1. I need an IV of caffeine, STAT.

2. I know I shouldn't be little-claiming, but I just had the BIGGEST rush crush!

3. What's the words to the door stack song? I can't remember.

4. How many more recruitment parties until lunch?

5. I wish I was at home in my bed, in sweats, watching Netflix instead of being in this dress and heels.

6. I could talk to this girl for hours, why does this party have to end?

7. I can't get the entrance song from philanthropy day out of my head!

8. If someone asks about how recruitment is going, I'm not going to lie and say it's fine.

9. I just want to know who the new girls will be already!

10. That girl was so rude, and now I have lost my patience for the rest of today.

11. Finally, it's the last party of the day!

12. I need to go to the bathroom badly, but I don't want to miss anything important.

13. I could eat an entire house-full of food right now.

14. Bid day is tomorrow, and I cannot wait!

15. I'm so proud of all my sisters, we killed it!

Good luck to all of those recruiting, and to those who became/become new members, congratulations! You are in for the ride of your life!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
