1. Everyone will think they are your child when you’re out in public.
Everyone assumes you are a teen mom. You will get comments all the time about how your kids look just like you, or about how cute they are, and you'll just thank them because you are over explaining the fact that they are your siblings, not your children.
2. Even your siblings think you're their parents sometimes.
They will slip up and accidentally call you mom from time to time. Or they will ask you permission to do/eat something before they do it.
3. Let's be real; you are a mini-parent.
Or as my brother calls it, a "kid adult." Either way, sometimes you will act like their parent.
4. They teach you to appreciate the little things in life.
Every little new thing they do will make you smile.
5. You will constantly watch the same shows and movies.
Do you even have little siblings if you don't know all the show theme songs by heart?
6. Tiny humans will become your best friends.
They may be way younger than you, but they are still your best friends.
7. They will annoy you to no end.
No matter what the age difference is, they are still your siblings, so you'll bicker a lot.
8. People will ask how your siblings are doing, before asking about you.
You are no longer the baby of the family, so you don't get first dibs on attention anymore.
9. Your camera roll and snapchat stories are almost always filled with pictures of them.
I mean they are too cute for this not to be a thing.
10. You will get cuddles all the time.
Your heart will melt every time they ask you to cuddle,
11. You will be their role model in life.
They watch every move you make and want to be just like you.
12. They will bring out the inner child in you.
Good excuse to go see the new kid movies in theaters, too.
13. You will have such a unique bond with them.
This huge of an age difference is a rare thing to have; never take it for granted.
14. They will love you as unconditionally as you love them.
There is no better feeling in the world.
15. You can't believe how old you will be when they are your age one day.
This thought is a scary one.
