Calling all pumpkin carving, cozy clothes wearing, autumn loving people. Your friends know it, your family knows it, and most of all you know it; autumn is the best time of the year. It has finally arrived, and you are the happiest you have been all year. Here are XX things you know to be true if you love autumn as much as I do.

1. When the trees show anything other than green, your heart tends to skip a beat.

There is just something so memorizing by the calm colors of this time of year.

2. When the weather goes from a beautiful 60 degrees to a dreadful 83 on the same day, and you absolutely hate it.

You can't wear your cute "autumn" clothing because you will end up sweating buckets by lunch.

3. Flannels, scarfs, boots, sweaters. Need I say more?

It's almost as if you are wearing a blanket 24/7. Plus being cozy and fashionable? Yes, please!

4. Speaking of blankets, burrowing yourself inside of them drinking any hot beverage.

Nobody will judge you for ordering that coffee at dinner time because you are cold. They would probably join you.

5. Fall scented everything. Specifically, the fall line of candles at bath and body works.

Pumpkin, autumn leaves, pine, lavender, sugar cookies, cinnamon, etc.

6. Fairs and festivals.

End of summer state fairs, fall festivals, corn mazes, comfort food, and spending time having fun with your friends and family.

7. Campfires and S'mores

You can enjoy the fire while under a blanket and not have to worry about sweating in the summer heat. Bonus: all of the bugs start to disappear.

8. You have had your Halloween costume played since last year and religiously watch Halloween films on repeat.

You have the entire day planned from the second you wake up, to the moment you leave that Halloween party you put together.

8. Thanksgiving

No school, family, cozy sweaters, comfort food, giving thanks, and did I mention the comfort food?

9. Carmel apples and apple picking or just apple everything.

Apple pies, caramel apples, apple barns (shout out to Minnesota's largest candy store aka Jim's apple barn for those who actually live there), apple strudels, and even crisp apple candles.

10. Jumping in the world's largest pile of leaves.

You know you were always forced to rake up the leaves when you were younger, and then get in trouble for messing up the pile by having some fun.

11. Misty, cold mornings to enjoy on your way to work/school.

Nothing wakes you up like the fresh, crisp morning air with a beautiful walk along the way.

12. That extra hour of sleep.

Fall back, spring ahead.

13. Your feed is filled with artsy, autumn photos.

PSLs, boot pictures with leaves, trees, flannel, pumpkin carving, flannels, and pretty much everything there and in between.

14. Saturdays are for college football.

I need not say more.

15. You simply just can't stop talking about how great autumn really is.

Everyone thinks that you are obsessed, but in reality they're right.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
