Ask anyone, they will all tell you the same thing: my big is my favorite person ever. She's always there for me and gives me the best advice at just the right times. Without her, I'd be lost, and I would be a totally different person. She deserves so many more thank-yous than these every day, but here are some to start.

Thank you for...

1. Teaching me everything

You have helped me learn everything within our chapter, and even around campus.

2. Making spontaneous decisions with me

Usually, it's me just tagging along to the spontaneous decisions YOU'RE making, but hey, the stories we tell my kid will sound just as cool.

3. Letting me crash at your place

I can never, and will never, thank you enough for this. Thank you for treating me like a third roommate.

4. Introducing me to so many new people

Whether that be other girls in the chapter, or just your other friends, I have met so many different people through you, and I will always be grateful for it.

5. Treating me like I am literally your kid

From calling me kid at least 30 times a day, and literally treating me like I am yours, I would be lost without you.

6. Making me fall in love with my chapter even more

You show me the brighter sides of the chapter, and so many things I would've missed without you.

7. Spoiling me...

I know I don't deserve it!!

8. ...ESPECIALLY during Big/Little week

Literally gaining 15 canvases all in one day was the best feeling ever.

9. Always answering my phone calls...

Whether it be 2 in the afternoon or 4 in the morning, you always answer, and give me great advice or help when I need it.

10. ...And listening to me rant about the same thing over and over

No explanation needed..(:

11. For telling me I'm making stupid decisions

Usually, about a boy, you always tell me when I'm being stupid and need to change my ways, which usually I don't...sorry!!

12. Taking me out for food

Pub and Starbucks date soon pls!!

13. Letting me borrow your makeup

Your makeup always FLEEKY and bless you for helping me pick what makeup to buy also.

14. Being my best friend

Without you, I would be so lonely, and having that shoulder to cry on is one thing I'll never forget.

15. TAlways being there for me

You never give up on me, and listen to me every second of every day, and I would be so sad without you, so thank you. I love you.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
